Love Home Renovations is proud to present this project in West Hollywood, CA. We took an old living room and turned it into a beautiful modern work of art. This living room renovation was part of a comprehensive full-house renovation, with a particular focus on creating a captivating statement ceiling as the defining feature of the space.

Statement Ceiling

Our main goal was to make a statement ceiling for the living room that would be its focal point. To do this, we installed exposed wooden beams meticulously crafted from high-quality wood. Along with these beams, we added lovely wood panels with the same stain to give the room more depth and warmth. This blend of elements brings a cozy, rustic charm while still keeping a modern look.

Fireplace and Mantel

To complement the statement ceiling, we also renovated the fireplace to match its style for a unified and minimalist look. It now features the same wood material used in the ceiling, seamlessly integrating with the overall design. The new mantel added to the room’s simple yet elegant charm makes it a functional centerpiece.

Staircase Renovation

As part of the project, we improved the staircase leading to the basement and second floor. We painted the stairs black to make the room look more modern and different from the mostly white color scheme. This striking black color adds depth and drama to the space while drawing attention to the staircase’s clean lines.

Fresh White Wall Paint

We painted the walls in the living room a fresh coat of white paint to keep the room feeling open and airy. As a blank slate, the white walls let the dramatic ceiling and other design features stand out. This choice of paint color makes the room feel even bigger and more peaceful.
